Kalisa wins Product of the Year (AI) at the 2026 Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards

LONDON, October 15, 2026

Kalisa won the Product of the Year (AI) at the 2026 Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards, recognising its work in helping organisations adopt secure, responsible AI built around their own knowledge and expertise.

The award was presented on 14 October 2026 at Pan Pacific London, at a ceremony bringing together law firms, in-house legal teams, technology providers and innovators from across the legal sector.

Organised by Law.com in partnership with Legal Geek, the awards celebrate organisations and individuals making significant contributions to legal technology and innovation.

Kalisa was selected from 11 shortlisted products, alongside established legal technology providers including Thomson Reuters, Litera, Agiloft and Wordsmith AI. The Product of the Year (AI) category recognises innovative AI products that demonstrate originality, successful implementation and measurable impact in the legal sector.

Recognising real-world adoption and impact

Over the past year, Kalisa has grown to more than 25,000 licensed users, working with a range of professional services and higher education clients, including Kingsley Napley, The University of Law, Lex Mundi and Legal Action Group.

These organisations are using Kalisa to make their knowledge and expertise more accessible, support internal teams and create AI-powered experiences for their clients and wider communities.

Kalisa enables organisations to build these AI-powered experiences around their own knowledge, processes and standards, while retaining control over their data, intellectual property and how AI is used.

An important milestone for Kalisa and its team

The award marks a significant milestone for Kalisa, recognising the progress of a growing team committed to making secure, reliable AI accessible to organisations where privacy, professional expertise and trust are essential.

Commenting on the award, Adam Roney, Founder and CEO of Kalisa, said:

"When I founded Kalisa, I had a clear vision: AI should strengthen human expertise, not replace it. Organisations and professionals should be able to protect their knowledge, retain control of their intellectual property and use AI to create new value from their expertise. This is our North Star and it drives everything we do.

"To receive this recognition alongside some of the most respected names in legal technology is a fantastic moment for Kalisa and everyone involved in our journey."

Chara Kalemaki, Marketing and Operations Manager at Kalisa, reflected on the experience:

"Being recognised in a room full of extraordinary people and organisations was a moment I will never forget. Building a start-up brings both challenges and opportunities, so seeing our team celebrated in this way meant a great deal to me.

"I see the care and dedication that everyone puts into Kalisa every day, and I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together. I am equally grateful to our clients, who have trusted us, supported us and with whom we have built relationships I genuinely value. It is these relationships that make a win like this so special."

Kalisa extends its thanks to Law.com, Legal Geek and the judging panel for this recognition, and to its team, clients and partners for their continued trust and support.
